The Vision

To provide athletes with a competitive advantage through the use of hypnosis for building confidence, enhancing performance, smashing limitations and creating a steely determination, focus and winning mindset. I believe in the saying that "The only thing holding you back is yourself".

The Mission

My mission is to stay ahead of the pack by actively seeking cutting edge innovations in brain training, neuroscience and sport performance psychology. I continue to play an active role in endurance sport, to stay in touch with the community. I underpin what I do with the latest science and research; as well as contributing to the field to enhance performance.

The Expert

My career has been driven by the desire to enhance athlete performance.

I have been awarded a Ph.D. in Sport Science (Sport Psychology) from the University of Hull, UK and a M.Sc. in Coaching Education from Ohio University, USA. I have worked with Melbourne Football Club, ESS Performance, and numerous individual athletes, coaches and sports organizations; as well as lecturing at various universities including the University of Melbourne, Deakin University, and Victoria University in Australia, and Edge Hill University, Leeds Metropolitan University, the University of Leeds, and Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.

Sport has always had a central role in my life, playing rugby league professionally, and cricket, badminton and rugby union at representative level. My current passion is triathlon, where I have completed my first iron-distance triathlon at the Asia-Pacific Championship Melbourne Ironman 2015, and followed this by completing Ironman Western Australia in December 2015. In 2016 I have completed Ironman 70.3 in Geelong in March and Ballarat Ironman 70.3 in December. In 2017 I completed the Asia-Pacific Championships for Challenge Melbourne in April. I have been awarded bronze status in the Ironman All World Athlete Program for 2016 and again for 2017. In 2018 I return to Ironman 70.3 Geelong setting a 12-minute personal best, followed by another 14-minute pb at Challenge Melbourne.

In my role as a qualified hypnotist, I assist fellow athletes to improve endurance, overcome doubt and become more focused and successful.

... It's time to realise your inner champion

Paul at Ballsy Creative provided the concept "A complex, unfocussed mind finds clarity and order, symbolised by a maze as it evolves into straight lines or lanes". I love it and encourage you to check him out for all your design needs.
